Energy transition and sustainable economy discussed at OMC 2023
From Tuesday 24 to Thursday 26 October, one of the most eagerly awaited events for the entire Mediterranean Oil & Gas sector returns: OMC Med Energy Conference and Exhibition. The conference will be held in Italy, in the city of Ravenna, and representatives of the most important companies at international level are expected, once again ready to engage in discussions on central themes for the energy industry and beyond.
In this regard, the theme chosen for the 2023 edition of OMC is as emblematic as ever, with a motto such as ‘Reshaping the Energy Industry: Action for Transition’ that clearly explains the main objectives of the event. Indeed, conference participants are called upon to engage in discussions on the new economic models to be adopted in order to initiate fair and sustainable growth in the energy transition and the technologies required to achieve the set Carbon Neutrality targets.
The protagonists will be the excellences of the Oil & Gas sector, their ideas and innovations. In particular, this year’s OMC has set up an area reserved for start-ups, young professionals, university researchers and students – not by chance renamed Innovation Room – where the new generations will have the opportunity to test themselves in finding concrete solutions to problems and challenges that concern them closely.
